1. Description
Rubber Based Sealant Tape that is used to seal the edges of vacuum bags to get rid of moisture and air in composite parts. The tapes peel off easily after completing the vacuum process and remain intact until they have to be removed. Sealant Tape is typically used whenever an air-tight seal is required and will adhere to most surfaces. It is most commonly used in the composite manufacturing process of temporary and permanent vacuum bagging.
2. Application
1)For air proofing between vacuum bags; 2) For middle temperature curing for sealing between vacuum bags and composite tools.
