1. Description
Crepped Aluminum Foil Flashing Tape Roll also called butylene alu wave is a high-quality waterproof, damp-proof, self-adhesive EPDM flashing tape for roof insulation projects. Suitable for sealing roof joints in places that are difficult to waterproof, such as chimneys, dormers, windows or adjacent walls and similar roofing jobs. The durable and UV resistant EPDM rubber construction is reinforced with a stretchable aluminium mesh-core for improved profiling and shaping on roof tiles. Not only does the soft and lightweight composition of this flashing tape make it easier to lay out than traditional aluminium tapes, it can also be applied to a range of different surfaces, including metal, plastic or ceramic.
2. Application
Applies to all kinds of connections on pitched roof – either for penetrations through the roof or other areas. All abutments at walls, chimneys, rising parts of structures such as dormers, fire walls and other abutments in the roof area. New build or refurbishment.All plain & profiled roofing materials.
